For over 50 years, Grow Early Learning, formerly known as East Coast Migrant Head Start Project or ECMHSP, has provided high quality early childhood education care and support for agricultural families at over 40 centers, across 10 states.

We are a nonprofit organization running Migrant and Seasonal Head Start early childcare and education programs throughout 10 states. Our staff is comprised of educators, social workers, transportation, facilities, and administrative staff; all talented and skilled individuals, and all passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, families, and communities.

We know that having a work-life balance is important, and to support this, Grow Early Learning provides paid time off to staff in three different ways: paid holidays, annual leave, and sick leave 

15 Paid Holidays: All the federal holidays, plus the day after Thanksgiving and your birthday! 

Grow Early Learning is committed to investing in and developing our employees.  Employees have access to a range of professional development opportunities to support growth in their positions.  These opportunities may include pre-service and in-service trainings, individual and position-specific professional trainings, participation in learning communities, or attendance at job-specific conferences and continuing education opportunities (including required position-specific credentials or certificates).  

Some of the credential or continuing education opportunities, depending on the position, may include: 

  • Support for completing a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential,  
  • Access to family services credential,  
  • Assistance towards an early childhood degree alongside state-level T.E.A.C.H programs
